Breathing solitude like air, through the lungs and flowing into veins, a part of my blood, a part of this body, a part of me. Capitalism and Communism: Middle Ground?

So in recent months I've become an avid reader of the leftist magazine Adbusters.  As you may be able to tell by the title, it attacks capitalism and the way we live.  Every magazine comes with a fresh line of comments on how our lifestyle is destroying us.. Thanks for the obvious, but are you actually planning on giving us a solution? Of course not, they simply don't have one. So great idea guys, pull the plug on advertisements because you don't appear to have a clue as to how that effects the entire system.  Without advertising there is : no fund-raising, no community events, no films, no sport stars oh and wait for it - most people will

Moving on and moving up.

Misery is not always a choice, sometimes it is a situation. It feels as if I've lived half a lifetime in a single year.  It feels as though I've truly broken misery's grasp.  Freedom is taken for granted, capitalism is spirit-crushing and right now, life may be as good as it gets. What would you do if you were Atlas? Carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders? Being beaten constantly for your efforts. Constant hate and ... I guess regret is the best word. Carrying the world, having them hate you for your effort? What would you do?
